SUMMER!!!

We have had such a great summer. Even though Spencer stays super busy at work and I am super busy with Gage we tried to manage to do a few things this summer. For the Jackson Family Reunion we went to Mill Meadows for a weekend and had a blast. Spencer got to fish for 3 days!!! I am sure that was the highlight of his summer. We got to see all my side of the family together except for my sister who lives in North Dakota. Gage just loved camping and loved being able to sleep with Mom and Dad. Mom and Dad on the other hand did not like that so much. We realized that Gage is quite the bed hog. I just love spending time with my family.

Gage was always trying to help Spencer with the fires. Ya you could say he is quite the dare devil.

Spencer and I bought a new car about a month ago and we just love it. Don't like the payments so much. The car is a 2005 Chevy Equinox. Everyone knows how it feels to have a new car whether it is used or not. So i am just proud to show it off a little.

Throughout the summer we go down to my parents a lot and we just love it down there. Gage is able to be outside all the time and we are able to get out of the city. My sister who lives in Idaho was visiting for a few weeks, so Gage and I spent a week down there and just had a blast. Gage got to spend time with his cousins Jackson and Emma. Jackson is close to Gage's age but they are both so different. It's fun watching them play.

As a family, Spencer, Gage, and I, have been doing really well. We are loving being a family and we just love spending time together. I am also in the process of going back to Wal-Mart just part-time and overnight. It will be nice to get out of the house for a little bit and to get some extra money to do more fun things. It's also a perfect job because i can still be a stay at home mom and not miss anytime with Gage.

We love playing outside and going on walks. We try to go on walks at least once a week, even if it is just to go get ice cream.

Sorry its been so long!!!

Wow i am really slacking on this project! Well lets see what has happened since Christmas. The months have just flown by and i don't even know what to do. Gage has been walking sine he was 10 months and trying to talk. The only things he says are "Daddy", "Mom", and "uh-oh". He is so full of life and such a hand full, but he is the cutest dang kid you will ever meet. It has been a year since Gage came into our lives on May 7, 2010 at 4:00 a.m. It was been a blast getting to know him and watching him grow and his personality shine.

He was so spoiled that day! But had so much fun.

Even though he had the flu on his Bday he still enjoyed that cake!!

 He got to spend the weekend at his Grandparents in Caineville and had so, so much fun playing outside in the dirt everyday!

Well other than that news we really haven't been up to alot. Spencer still works at Wal-Mart and has recently gotten promoted to Department Manager. I am so proud of him and how hard he works. Spencer goes fishing often, at least once a week and loves it. It has become a hobby for him now and he really enjoys learning everything about it. He often goes to the ponds in Cedar Hills and Provo Canyon.

Vanessa hasn't really been up to anything. I am still a stay at home mom and this weather has definitely given me cabin fever. I cannot wait til the summer so that i can take Gage outside and not be stuck in the house all day. I have recently signed up for a gym pass and am so excited because it gets me away from everything for about 2 hours every other day and it will also help me get into better shape to keep up with Gage. I am so very blessed to have such a wonderful and adorable family. I have the most loving and endearing husband of whom i am so proud of for everything he has accomplished and for everything he does for me. CHRISTMAS!!!!

First of all we would like to wish everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! This will be Gage's 1st Christmas. We are pretty sure he has no idea what is going on but he sure does like the Christmas tree lights and the colorful presents under the tree.

Time sure does fly and we are just not to busy lately. HA HA. Spencer still is busy as ever with work and I am just taking it easy at home (if i can). Gage keep us both busy but all in all he is a real easy baby.  He loves Baby Einstein and just loves trying to help Mom get ready for the day. Grandma Jackson has been to visit a few times and has informed me that Gage loves putting make up on.
We are very blessed for the many talented family members we have. My cousin Chelsea and her husband were able to come to our place and take our family pics. They turned out so beautiful i am so grateful for my wonderful family.

I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful Husband and the happiest baby you ever knew!! I couldn't imagine my life without them. Well to finish up I would just like to close with saying that we wish you all a Merry Christmas and hope that you can enjoy the time spent with your families and think back of all the past Christmas' all the way to where it started. Christmas is a time to think about Christ and all that he has done to make so many things possible for us. We love you all!!! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

It's been to long!!

Wow, not having internet really really sucks! I don't get to keep updated on everything and I am unable to keep everyone updated on us! We have had quite an exciting couple of months! We moved into a new apartment with 2 actual bedrooms. I sold my car (sad i know). We had 2 deaths on Spencers side of the family and Gage is now crawling! So so much to tell!!

Ok well to start things off we got a new apartment and we LOVE IT!! It's in American Fork and its just so cute and cozy. There are no gigantic spiders, leaky windows, uneven floors, or nosy neighbor kids. The only thing is we live right next to the train tracks but they only go by once or twice in the afternoon. I can deal with that.

We have had to go to California twice now. In September, we had to go for Spencer's Grandfather passing away. Clifford Bergon was a great man and very generous. He will be greatly missed. We were able to visit both grandmothers in Sun City and Torrence. It was my 1st time really being able to see California. We got to go to the ocean and relax while Little Grandma watched Gage. It was so beautiful and I cannot wait to go back to visit again. Then just last week we had another unfortunate passing of our Uncle Jim. I have only met him once but he was a great guy and had so many amazing stories. He will be very missed as well. We were only there for a short 2 days but we got to see many old family and friends that Spencer hasn't seen in a long time.

Gage, wow, I don't even know how to start. Gage is crawling at 6 months old!. He is already into everything but it is such a blast. I have been able to quit my job and be a stay at home mom. I freakin love it!

Gage is just the happiest baby to have around. He is truly a blessing in our lives. We love him to death and wouldn't want it any other way. He is eating his fruits and veggies and just growing way to fast. He is definilty like his dad because he eats so much!! But he is a moving boy and i am sure working it off faster than the rest of us.

He is starting to climb and works so hard to see what we are doing on the couch. I just can't get over how blessed we are. I love him so much!!

Another note: This weekend is Spenc and mine 1 year anniversary!! I can't believe we have made it a year already. Boy it has been crazy. I love my family so much and i am so appreciative of my husband for all that he has done for me. He has loved me through thick and thin (lol get it) and I am just so thankful for him. Til next time!
